I played a special holiday show with Mark Croft this weekend. The highlight for me was getting to hear some arrangements I wrote played by violinist Chris Wagoner and cellist Mary Gaines. I’ve known both of them forever and think the world of their musicianship. The three of us played trio arrangements that I wrote for a number of Mark’s songs. Having Chris and Mary play my arrangements was a good Christmas gift! It was a special treat for me and, I hope(!), the audience.
