As a string player it is often my lot to fill out a ballad or overlay lots of tracks to create a string section, but Duke’s tune was a fun-to-play, straight-ahead rock song. It sounds like my favorite Warren Zevon songs, with a killer, piano-driven groove. I don’t know what Duke’s schedule is for releasing the CD, but I’m looking forward to hearing the finished product.
